Last Tuesday, the GMLOK softball team split a pair of games with Plainview-Elgin-Millville, losing the first game 7-3, and then winning the nightcap 6-2.

In the TRC game, the gals came up with six hits, one each for Brittany Erding, Haley Colton, Rialie Fenske, Jamie Stevens, Shelby Erding, and Alayna Meskill. Runs-batted-in were recorded for Colton and Fenske.

Alayna Meskill pitched the entire seven innings, giving up eight hits and striking out one.

In the non-conference win over the Bulldogs, Brittany Erding led the offense, going two for two, with an RBI and three runs scored. Also getting hits were Haley Colton, Rialie Fenske, Jamie Stevens and Shelby Erding.

Jamie Stevens is credited with the win for the gals, giving up just two hits and striking out one.

This past Friday the gals got their first conference win, beating Southland 5-4 in the second game of a double-header. The ladies lost the first game to the Rebels, 6-2.

Saturday the team lost to Byron, 15-5, in five innings.

Tuesday, the Lady Bulldogs are at St. Charles for a 5 p.m. game, and then play Dover-Eyota after that, also in St. Charles. Thursday the gals close out their regular season with a double-header against Fillmore Central/Lanesboro, at home.

The sub-section tournament gets underway next week.
