The Lady Knights had their season come to an end last week with a 76-50 loss to Zumbrota-Mazeppa. With the loss the girls finished with a record of 11-16.

The score was 31-19, Z-M, at the intermission. "At halftime we felt good since we've been in this position most of the season and I felt we were posed to have a great second half," said coach Eric Breitsprecher. "Offensively, we did exactly what I thought we would do, we put up 31 points. On the flip side, we were slow defensively the whole game. They put up a season-high 45 points on us in the second half to end our season. It was a tough year for these girls for all they have gone through, but I'm very proud of all they have accomplished, on and off the court."

Lindsay Tart led the team with 12 points and five rebounds. The team only shot 29 percent from the field, 16/55, but were 6/12 (50.0 percent) from three-point range. Lindsay Tart hit four of six three-pointers and Haley Colton was 1/1. Cheyenne Losey hit one of two from beyond the arc, finishing the game with six points and four steals.

McKayla Pruter hit 4/6 from the charity stripe, finishing the game with eight points. She also dished out seven assists. Lizzie Tart was 2/2 from the line, also coming up with eight points.
