This week the girls basketball team finishes up the regular season with three games: Chatfield at home on Monday, Wabasha-Kellogg at home on Tuesday and Dover-Eyota at Eyota on Friday.

This past week the gals only had one game, losing to Lewiston-Altura, 62-58.

"McKayla Pruter continues to lead this team by example," said coach Eric Breitsprecher. "She had five steals, 10 assists and five rebounds." She also contributed eight points for a fine night's work.

Cheyenne Losey had a team high 14 points, hitting five of 10 shots from the field. She also had seven rebounds. Leading in rebounds was Nicole Swanson with 10. She finished the night with a double-double by scoring 10 points, and a "true d-d, 10p/10r." Lindsay Tart also had 10 points.

With the loss to the Cards, the Lady Knights are now 10-13 for the season, 6-9 in the Three Rivers Conference.

The Section 1AA tournament begins Friday, Feb. 24, starting at 7 p.m. with games at the home court of the highest seeds. Seeding has yet to be determined.
