This past week, the Kingsland volleyball team lost a pair of Three Rivers Conference matches to Caledonia (0-3: 23-25, 9-25, 14-25) and Dover-Eyota (0-3: 23-25, 22-25, 15-25), dropping the Knights' TRC record to 0-10, and their overall record to 4-18.

Tuesday night the Lady Knights played Cotter, also 0-10 in the TRC. Somebody's getting out of the cellar, but results weren't available before this edition of the newspaper went to press. The gals finish up their regular season with the Rochester Exchange Club Tournament at the National Volleyball Center, Century High School, this weekend.

In the loss to the Eagles, Rialie Fenske was 25 of 28 in serve receiving (SR), 10/11 at the service line and had a team high 11 digs. Hannah Pruter was 8/8 at the line, had 10 set assists and was 4/5 in SR. Haley Colton led the team with five kills and also came up with one ace block. Kailynn Hamersma was 9/9 at the line with three aces, had three kills and led the team with 1.5 ace blocks. Brianna Musel had four kills, hit .400 and was 12/12 at the line. She also had seven digs and was 11/14 in SR. Reann Kimball had three kills in the lost to D-E.

Kingsland had five players that were perfect at the service line: Hannah Pruter (4/4),Taylor Link (3/3), Hamersma (4/4), Musel (11/11) and Gina Blanchard (9/9). Haley Colton and Hamersma each had three kills against the Warriors. Hamersma also had a team high two ace blocks. Fenske (10) and Megan Back (7) were the leaders in digs. Blanchard (15/16) and Musel (14/16) were tops in serve receive.
