The Kingsland boys basketball team traveled to Lake City last Saturday night for part of a G/B double-header. The boys lost their contest 61-45.

Kingsland had three players in double-figures scoring: Jacob Rindels (13), Filip Swanson (12) and Marcus Plaehn (11). Others contributing to the scoring were Jordan Meskill (3), Marshall Oeltjen (2), Julius Wolf (2) and Quinn Larson (2). Three of Rindels' buckets were three-pointers.

Leading rebounders for Kingsland were Marshall Oeltjen, 12, and Filip Swanson, 11.

According to the Post Bulletin, Lake City went on a 15-2 run about the end of the third quarter, to put the game out of reach.

This week the boys will host Fillmore Central on Tuesday and Caledonia on Friday.
