"We didn't work as a team against Fillmore Central," said coach Lisa Kimball. "And we need to improve on our defense. There was a lack of communication which led to many unforced errors."

The Knights played much better against Plainview-Elgin-Millville, especially after the first game. "We struggled both offensively and defensively in the first game," said Kimball. "We made some adjustments on our coverages and improved our communication through the next few games. Jessi Kaster really stepped up as a leader for us and had a great night all the way around."

Kaster led the team with 13 kills, 11/12 serving (four aces), four ace blocks, 24 digs and was 16/20 in serve receive. Losey had eight kills and had a hitting efficiency of .350 for the match against the Bulldogs. Losey also delivered five ace serves and had three ace blocks.

Serving, Lizzie Tart was 13/13, while Gabriel Drees gets the WEB award, going 22 for 22. Drees also had 15 digs and was 8/11 in SR.

Tart had 31 of the team's 36 set assists.

Also in double-figures with digs were Tart (12), Musel (11), and Rialie Fenske (10).
