The No. 10 seeded Kingsland Knights volleyball team had to travel to No. 7 Houston for the first sub-section match, and what turned out to be their last match of the season. The Lady Knights lost to the Hurricanes, 0-3 (13-25, 15-25, 11-25), ending their season with an overall record of 5-23.

Senior Haley Colton led the team with six kills. She was also three for four at the service line and 10 of 13 in serve receive (SR). Freshman Gracie Schmidt had three kills, followed by two each from seniors Rialie Fenske, Kailynn Hamersma, Gina Blanchard and Brianna Musel. Junior Hannah Pruter led the serving corps with a perfect seven for seven. Also delivering a 100 percent performance were Rialie Fenske (5/5), Gina Blanchard (4/4) and senior Megan Back (1/1). As a team, Kingsland was 35 for 38 with five aces: two each for Kailynn Hamersma and Brianna Musel and one for Rialie Fenske.

Pruter led the team with eight set assists and 19 digs. Fenske led the team with 22/25 in SR, and came up with 14 digs. Musel had 12 digs and was 11/11 in SR. Blanchard was nine for 12 in serve receive.

The gals finished the regular season at 5-22, 0-11 in Three Rivers Conference play.
