Letter of concern:

Last week in the Chatfield News in the summary of the minutes of the council, there seemed a sense of concern over the tourism group.

As people get older, they tend to sign up closer to the day in place of weeks ahead. Why? To make sure they are physically able to do it. Makes sense.

Even with less money in people's pockets and the price of gas so high, as of Aug. 4, we have had 454 people stop. Not too bad, do you think? They are all positive and happy to stop and pick up folders.

My question is "Why don't we belong to the Bluff Country group anymore?"

Happy Western Days.
