The Gopher golf teams resumed their seasons on Thursday with a home meet against the Caledonia/Spring Grove Warriors. Both the boys' and girls' teams for Chatfield were looking to avenge losses to the Warriors earlier this season.

The Gopher girls' team was paced by Morgan Henry, who fired the team's lowest score for her first time this spring with a 49. Paige Isensee shot the next lowest round for Chatfield with a 52. Pam Lisowski followed Isensee by shooting a 72 while Makara Fahrenholtz rounded out the qualifying scores for the Gophers with a 74. However, Chatfield's cumulative score of 247 wasn't enough to exact revenge on the Warriors, whose team score was 206.

Chatfield's boys' team again was led by Chris Hanson, who was one of three Gophers to shoot in the 40s, as the sophomore penciled in a 47 on his scorecard. Alex Hompe followed Hanson, shooting one stroke higher than him with a 48. Levi Roline rounded out the trio of Gophers to break 50 as he shot his low round of the spring with a 49. Rhett Littrell contributed the fourth lowest round for Chatfield, firing a 58. The Gopher boys' team finished with a team score of 202 and earned its first win of the season, edging the Warriors by three strokes.
