The Chatfield volleyball team finished the regular season with a convincing 3-0 (25-20, 25-10, 25-20) win over the Kingsland Knights last week. Chatfield never trailed in any of the games(sets) during the entire match.

Maddy Kammer (9), Kirsten Keefe (7), Camille Rasmussen (7) and Brook Irish (5) led the team in kills against Kingsland. Setter Gabrielle Salisbury (14) also had two kills in the match. Kileigh Dudek also had nine set assists. Maddy Kammer hit .364 and freshman Sheridan Salisbury hit .300 with three kills and no errors. Kammer and Irish led the team in ace blocks with two each.

Defensive standouts in the match were Alex Duxbury (19 digs, 24/25 serve receive) and Kirsten Keefe (16 digs, 14/14 SR).

Top servers were Gabrielle Salisbury (11/12), Alex Duxbury (9/10), Kileigh Dudek (9/9), Kirsten Keefe (24/25), Bailey Hilgren (4/4), Maddie Talamantes (8/8) and Sheridan Salisbury (5/5). Kirsten Keefe had eight ace serves, 32.0%, in the three sets.

Thursday night, the gals, seeded #2, take their 19-9 record into the East 1AA Subsection Tournament, as they host Lake City (#7, 5-18). If the gals win on Thursday, they will play again on Saturday, 4:30 p.m., against either St. Charles (#3) or Plainview-Elgin-Millville (#6).
