What? Only one game? Whew!

With only one game this past week, Coach Tom Bance had an opportunity to practice, something that's been hard-to-come by recently. The guys took full advantage of the 'special' time, putting together a game plan for a win over Lewiston-Altura, 73-63.

Four Gopher players hit double-figures, led by junior Brandon Adler's 16. Also in double-digits were Jayme LaPlante (11), Nate Skare (13) and Jake Neis (10). Also adding to the 'balanced attack' were Reid Danielson, 7, and Mitch Irish, 8.

Danielson led in rebounds with nine, followed by Irish and Adler, each with eight. Neis had a team high seven assists, while senior Reid Danielson 'dished out' five.

"We played a very good second half," said Coach Tom Bance, "especially on defense."

Tuesday the Gophers host Wabasha-Kellogg and then travel to Southland Friday for the season finale.

Individual scoring vs the Cardinals: Jayme LaPlante 11, Reid Danielson 9, Luke Isensee 4, Christian Bance 3, Nate Skare 13, Jake Neis 10, Mitch Irish 8, Adam Amy 1, Brandon Adler 16. Three's, 6; Isensee, Bance, Skare, Neis (2), Irish.
