June Mildred Kemmish, 77, died on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at Golden Living Center East in Rochester.

She was born April 30, 1936, in Stuart, Iowa.

On Nov. 23, 1968, June married Algen Kemmish in Byron.

She retired as a cook from Samaritan Bethany Home. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She enjoyed playing cards, sewing, cooking and singing. Above all, she loved spending time, making memories with her family.

She is survived by her children, James Kemmish of Rochester, Mary (Lindon) Klein of Rochester and Linda Lewis of Austin; grandchildren, Alissa, Josh, Katina, Andrea, Jessica, Joey, Angie, Katie, Chris and Laura; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Alexandra, Harper, Makenzie, Amanda, Alex, Stevie Jo, Alejandro, Audrianna, Taylor, Lilly, Addison, Audrey and Carson; great-great-grandchild, Kiar; and other family, Ervin (Mary) Davidson of Chatfield and Iva (Roy) Ristau of Preston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Algen; son, Michael Lewis; grandson, Tony; and brother, Darold Davidson.

A funeral service was held Sunday, March 2, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester. Interment took place at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
