Rosalie Marie Hongerholt, 63,Fargo, N.D., died on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo.

Rosalie Marie Bakke was born on Jan. 13, 1950, in La Crosse,

Wis., to Alvin and Luella Bakke. She grew up near Lanesboro, where she

graduated high school. On Nov. 20, 1971, she married Henry Hongerholt Jr.

She worked several jobs over the years. She worked at the Methodist

Hospital in Rochester, from 1967-1974. In 1975, Henry and Rosalie moved to

Fargo to raise their family.

She had many hobbies. She loved playing games, whether it be softball,

shooting pool, bowling, or playing card and dice games. She also enjoyed

going to Detroit Lakes, Minn., and camping. Mostly, she loved spending time

with her family and friends. Her caring nature and zest for life will be

greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Jr.; children, Nicole (Jason

Restemayer) Hongerholt, Brandon (Amanda), Kristina Hongerholt, Henry "Tate"

(Jami Johnson) Hongerholt III; grandchildren, Ty, Skyler, Aydenne, Damian,

Nathan, Alyssa, and Gracie; sister, Lavonne (Charles) McCabe; sister-in-law,

Kathy Bakke; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles "Buddy"

Bakke.

The memorial service was held Saturday, March 2, at Elstad Lutheran

Church, Lanesboro. Burial was in the Hongerholt Cemetery, Peterson, Minn.
