Wednesday, May 29, 2013 3:25 AM
The Spring Valley EDA and economic development director Cathy Enerson are looking for proposals that would make use of the funds from the Rochester half cent sales tax distribution.
Local residents with ideas are invited to share their vision for the city of Spring Valley at the next EDA meeting on Wednesday, June 12, at City Hall, starting at 8:30 a.m. Attend the meeting, bring your proposal and share your ideas on how to spend the sales tax revenue of approximately $265,000.
People may download the regulated sales tax guidelines and 0.5 percent sales tax proposal forms at www.springvalleyeda.org before attending the EDA meeting to present ideas. It is encouraged that you submit your proposal in advance to the EDA by dropping your form off at City Hall, attention Cathy Enerson, or email your proposal to email@example.com.
All proposals should stay within a presentation time limit of five minutes and there will be time for questions following the proposal.
