Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin announced a new initiative for the upcoming holiday season - holiday lights recycling!

Habitat ReStores throughout the state of Wisconsin, as well as area stores including Mulqueen's True Value in Spring Grove are accepting non-working or no longer needed holiday lights throughout the holiday season.

"Don't throw those old strings of lights away, donate them to our ReStore," said Steve Baker, ReStore manager. "We'll recycle them and use the proceeds to assist low-income families in our community."

Lights can be dropped off any time at Mulqueen's in the tub in the front of the store clearly marked for used lights.
