David “Skip” Bidney of PERRO Contracting, Inc., left, donated $200 to Legion Post #249, which Vice-Commander David Peterson accepted on behalf of the club.

Last week, David "Skip" Bidney of PERRO Contracting, Inc. donated $200 to two local non-profits in Spring Grove. Shown is Bidney presenting a check to Legion Post #249 Vice-Commander David Peterson. Also receiving a $200 donation on Friday, Oct. 26, was the Spring Grove Semcac Senior Dining Site/Meals-on-Wheel program.

Bidney explained that his company's philosophy of "Roofs... Renovations... Relationships" is reflected in their quality work, which leads to satisfied customers and long-term relationships. Out of those relationships, the company likes to share in its profits by donating back to important local causes in the areas they serve.

PERRO Contracting, Inc. is based out of the Forest Lake area, a northern suburb of the Cities, but likes working in small towns. They are currently working with homeowners to repair roofs and siding as part of the damage from the Sept. 4 hailstorm.

Bidney pointed out that this initial donation is not their last, the company pledges to donate to local charities from each hail project it does in the Spring Grove area.
