Meet Tom Speltz.

If you're 62 and older, you're going to like him - he's the new activities, athletic director with the Kingsland Senior Citizen's Pass.

Speltz stated, "For the 2012-2013 school year, Kingsland is pleased to offer free admission to senior citizens of the district to all home athletics.

"We feel that senior citizens are such good supporters of Kingsland athletics and activities and that they should be honored with free admission to home games."

The passes are valid only at Kingsland's regular events. Gate admission still applies for state tournament games.

"They're only good for regular season events and won't be honored for away or tournament events, and they won't be available at the gate of the games seniors are attending, so it's important that anyone who wants one comes to the Kingsland district office at the high school to pick one up.

"They're complimentary and good for one year, so we look forward to seeing our local seniors in the stands, cheering our teams on. Go Knights!"

The passes are available at the Kingsland district office, located at 705 N. Section Ave., Spring Valley, or for more information, call 507-346-7276.
