Brittany Erding of the Knights bumps the ball vs. Southland.

Defensively, Kaster led the team with 10 digs and was 21/25 in serve receptions.
"This was truly a team win," said coach Lisa Kimball. "Each player saw at least one game of playing time and everyone stepped up."
Against Southland, Kimball stated, "It was an all senior start to the night and they came out strong from the start. Our play at the net and our serving was what won the match for us."
The team had 15 ace blocks in the four set win, and came up with 12 service aces. "The girls served aggressively and although we may have had a few more errors, it paid off," added Kimball. The team hit 86 of 96 serves, along with the dozen aces.
Tops in blocks were Kaster (6.5), Losey (3.5) and Beevers (3.5). Top servers were Losey (13/16, 5 aces), Kaster (12/13, ace), Hellickson (22/23, 2 aces), Musel (7/8), Colton (5/5), Drees (13/13), and Sarah O'Connell (8/9, 3 aces).
Kaster was once again the leader on defense, coming up with 11 digs, and was 19/20 in SR. Drees also had a good defensive night, five digs and 15/20 in serve receives. Brittany Erding was 8/13 in SR.
The Lady Knights had a well balanced "spike" attack. Kill leaders were Losey (6), Kaster (6), Beevers (4), O'Connell (4) and Katie Apenhorst (4).
This week the Knights were scheduled to travel to Chatfield on Tuesday and will take part in the Exchange Club Tournament on Friday and Saturday. That will finish the regular season, with the sub-section tournament starting next week.
