Going into the final nine minutes of the game, Caledonia was ahead by 39

points, 62-23, putting the game under the mercy rule¹.

Nothing went right for the Gophers, shooting 9/43 (20.9%) and committing

25 turnovers. Lucky for Chatfield, Caledonia committed 21 turnovers, or the

difference would have been even greater. The guys did hit 11 of 17 free

throws, 64.7%. Jayme LaPlante came up with three steals and eight rebounds

Against Rushford-Peterson Chatfield had three players in double-figures,

Skare (15), Neis (11) and Adler (10). Skare had four field goals, all

three¹s and was three for four at the line. Jake Neis had a .500 from the

field, 4/8 in field goals and _ from beyond the arc. Brandon Adler came off

the bench and hit four of seven shots from the field and 2/2 at the charity

line. He also had three rebounds, two steals and two assists. Neis led the

team with three steals and five assists.
