| M-C Athletes of the Year: Whalen and Smith |
The phrase "saving the best for last" has become quite a cliché. However, it could not be a more fitting phrase to describe the end of two athletes' careers at Mabel-Canton. The final and very prestigious award given an athlete is the Athlete of the Year honor.
